Bodexpress returns, Hot Girl Walk scores
Bodexpress is back!
The son of Bodemeister has returned to Pleasant Acres after his first crop produced eight winners and progeny earnings of $395,658. Among his winners is recent stakes-winner Hot Girl Walk, a California-bred filly owned and bred by Richard Barton Enterprises who captured the $100,000 Generous Portion Stakes at Santa Anita, receiving an Equibase ‘E’ speed figure of 83.
Antonio Fresu was in the saddle and he placed his filly third down the backstretch in the race at six furlongs. She moved at the leaders on the turn, took over entering the stretch, and drew off with ease. She was geared down nearing the wire and won by 1 1/4 lengths in 1:11.28. Hot Girl Walk paid $13, earned a check for $57,000, and raised her total to $117,500 on a record of 2-1-0 in four starts.
