Did you know? Our community is the “Horse Capital of the World!” Because the equine industry offers a sizable positive impact on the Ocala economy, it’s important that efforts are focused on assuring continued support of the Ocala Horse Industry. Because of this, and because of our dedication to our community, the Florida Parade of Retired Equine Champions will promote retired Florida equine champions, of all breeds, by building a Florida Hall of Champion Horses in Ocala, Florida.

About Us:
The Florida Parade of Retired Equine Champions future facility will feature a variety of breeds of Florida horses – from stakes-winning Thoroughbred racehorses and world-champion Quarter Horses, to beautiful Arabians and warmblood sport horses. Plus, so many more!
We are a 501©3 non-profit Florida corporation that was founding in 2014 to work with the equine industry and the community to connect visitors and residents with our champion Florida breeds. Our goal is to raise awareness of the industry and to bring Ocala/Marion County visitors and locals face-to-face with some of our distinguished champion Florida horses. Our current fundraiser efforts are dedicated to building a local museum, barn, and visitor center where retired, champion horses will live. The facilities will also be used to educate the community on the influence and legacy these spectacular horses have contributed to the industry.
We serve the community and the state of Florida through education and equine exhibits.

Book A Farm Tour!
One way that money is raised for The Florida Parade of Retired Equine Champions is through our Farm Tour Fundraising! Visit Pleasant Acres Stallions for a tour of the farm facilities. As a guest, you will spend an hour or more seeing our beautiful mares and rambunctious foals, our champion stallions, and our most distinguished resident – Precious Passion!
Tours are available Monday – Friday, from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. We look forward to showing you Pleasant Acres Stallions! Donations of $25 per person for each tour goes directly to The Florida Parade of Retired Equine Champions.
