We are dedicated to the equine industry in Ocala/Marion County and are also passionate about the equine champions in our community.
In 2014, we established the Florida Parade of Retired Equine Champions in an effort to combine the promotion of the “Horse Capital of the World” while paying diligence and respect to the fine equine champions who made it all happen.
Please visit our Florida Parade of Retired Equine Champions page to learn more about this wonderful 501c non-profit Florida charity working with the equine industry and the community – connecting visitors and residents with our champion Florida breeds!
Our fundraising efforts are through farm tours and direct donations. We also have sponsorships and volunteer opportunities available. Please call Helen Barbazon at 352-207-0286 for more information.
Our current fundraiser efforts are dedicated to building a local museum, barn, and visitor center where retired, champion horses will live. The facilities will also be used to educate the community on the influence and legacy these spectacular horses have contributed to the industry.
