Rivals can’t prevent Neolithic colt from becoming a ‘rising star’
Neolithic’s 11th winner of 2023, Prevent, is eligible to be included in the ranks of ‘rising stars’ after his victory in a $59,000 maiden special at Gulfstream Park in only his second start.
After finishing second in his May 5 debut, the 2-year-old colt bred by Katia Perez Ozuna stepped it up in his second try at five furlongs over the Tapeta surface under Leonel Reyes.
