Third Victory for Treasure Beach filly

Ed Seltzer, Beverly Anderson, and Joe and Helen Barbazon are the breeders of Nymue’s Treasure, a 4-year-old filly who won at Belterra Park yesterday and became winner No. 19 this year for Treasure Beach.

Sonny Leon was aboard Nymue’s Treasure, who sat second for most of the one-mile trip before wearing down the pacesetter in the stretch and going on to a 2 1/2-length score. It was the third career victory for the filly, who has finished in the top four in six consecutive races.

Treasure Beach added another South American winner when the 3-year-old Argentine-bred colt Indian Maharaja broke his maiden on May 4 at Hipodromo De Monterrico in Peru.
